Cypress Grove

Cypress Grove

Started by Mary Keehn in 1984, at a time when nearly all goat cheese was imported from France, Cypress Grove evolved the American palate from the strong-flavored French imports to the more nuanced, creamy characteristics of domestic goat cheese. Their claim to fame is Humboldt Fog®, a multi-layered soft-ripened goat cheese with a strip of vegetable ash running down the center, represents Humboldt County’s foggy coastline.
Marin French Cheese

Marin French Cheese

Marin French Cheese is America’s longest continually operating cheese company. Founder Jefferson Thompson started making cheeses at his West Marin dairy farm during the Civil War in 1865, during which he gained acclaim for his European style cheeses. Today, this artisan cheesemaker is renowned for its French approach to cheesemaking, focusing on crafting Brie and Camembert styles.
Jamnation

Jamnation

Started by Gillian Reynolds in 2014, Jamnation uses organic fruit from local farms within 200 miles of their San Francisco base, Fair Trade Certified sugars and spices, and no pectin to make intensely flavored jams. The inspiration for their flavors comes from Reynolds' travels to over 30 countries. Her award-winning jams are as fun and lively as their names, including "Apricot Red Handed," "A Crockwork Orange," and "Plum and Get it."
Rustic Bakery

Rustic Bakery

Carol LeValley & Josh Harris started Rustic Bakery in Novato in 2005. Their simple sourdough flatbread cracker, made with organic flour, water and salt, started in their home kitchen and expanded into a business when they sold their first 50 cases to the founders of Cowgirl Creamery. Their flatbread crackers are hand made in small batches using a fermentation process that gives them a snappy texture and a delicate sourdough flavor-- and makes them the perfect accompaniment to artisanal cheese.
Small Bees

Small Bees

Operated by the Small family since 2004, Small Bees manages over 125 registered and certified apiaries placed around Santa Clara County. They produce a variety of products, including their pure, raw, and unfiltered honey that contains all of the natural pollen, propolis, nectar, beeswax, and enzymes retained by the natural processes practices by the Smalls.
